Master cylinder 3/4 inch

When replacing the master brake cylinders or the service kits on a, there are several important points to take into account to ensure the system functions correctly and safely. (See notes)

First of all, it is essential that the cylinders are installed and adjusted correctly. The pushrod clearance must be set properly; if this is too tight, the brakes may not release fully, and if too loose, you may experience excessive pedal travel.

Secondly, cleanliness is extremely important.
Any contamination in the system can lead to malfunction of the internal seals. We strongly recommend flushing the complete brake system and using the correct type of brake fluid.

It is also very important to replace the supply and return hoses underneath the reservoirs. Old hoses can deteriorate internally and cause restrictions or contamination in the system. In addition, both brake fluid reservoirs must be completely clean on the inside before reassembly.

Please also check the condition of the front and rear brake hoses and supply pipes. Old or deteriorated hoses and pipes can expand under pressure, resulting in poor brake performance, and can also internally degrade and contaminate the brake system.
