Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a universal synthetic brake fluid formulated to meet and exceed the requirements of several international brake fluid standards. The product is suitable for use in hydraulic brake and clutch systems where DOT 4 brake fluid is specified.

The fluid provides a high dry boiling point of 260°C and a wet boiling point of 180°C, ensuring stable braking performance even under demanding operating conditions. High-performance additives and inhibitors help protect the braking system against corrosion and reduce the risk of vapour lock caused by high temperatures.

To maintain optimal braking performance and system protection, it is recommended that the brake fluid is replaced every two years.
