The Bentley Azure is a full four-seater convertible in which 4 people can comfortably drive throughout Europe with the roof open or closed.
The first generation has been produced from 1995 till 2003. The Azure was based on the famous coupé from Bentley in that day: the Continental R.
In 2006 the second generation Azure saw the light. This generation is based on the Arnage platform, powered by the famous Bentley twin-turbocharged V8 rated at 456 PS (335 kW; 450 hp) and 875 N⋅m (645 lb⋅ft) of torque.
Inside, the wood and leather are the main materials used. Buttons and switches are made of metal. The big, flat, chairs upfront have multiple adjustments and even a massage function. Nowadays that is not unusual but, in 2007, it was something extraordinary. Another interesting feature is the dual inside opening handle, one for the front seat occupants and the other for the rear passengers who can reach and open the door.
This massive convertible is built for relaxed drivings and comfort. To achieve that, the vehicle is heavy, has a long wheelbase and thick chairs inside. Exactly what one might expect from a Bentley. This modern car with a slightly sloped rear end still has the classic look that we know from Bentley of this era.
This particular 2007 Azure we are selling is a fine example with a low mileage. First deliverd in Monaco, imported to the Netherlands in the summer of 2020. Recently big maintenace performed.
Priced at € 149.900 one might say that this is not a bargain, but this Azure is worth every cent of it.
