Rolls-Royce & Bentley (1998–2010)

Between 1998 and 2010, Rolls-Royce and Bentley reaffirmed their status as leaders in luxury, performance, and craftsmanship. This era introduced some of the most distinctive models in modern British motoring history, including the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph and the Bentley Arnage line-up — from the Green Label and Red Label to the Arnage R, Arnage T, the convertible Azure, and the Brooklands Coupé. These models represented the final chapter of traditional hand-built excellence before full integration with BMW and Volkswagen.

Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph (1998–2002)

The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph marked a new chapter for the brand. It was the first Rolls-Royce fitted with a V12 engine since the 1930s, blending timeless luxury with modern engineering. Powered by a BMW-sourced 5.4L V12 (M73) and a 5-speed ZF automatic gearbox, the Silver Seraph delivered seamless refinement and effortless performance. Its interior showcased hand-stitched leather, rich wood veneers, and unparalleled craftsmanship.

Technical Improvements:

Bentley Arnage Green & Red Label (1998–2002)

The Bentley Arnage debuted in 1998, initially offered as the Green Label powered by a BMW 4.4L twin-turbo V8. Shortly after, Bentley reintroduced its iconic 6.75L twin-turbo V8 with the Arnage Red Label. Both versions combined classic British luxury with modern technology and impressive power delivery.

Technical Improvements:

Bentley Arnage R & Arnage T (2002–2009)

The Arnage R and Arnage T represented the evolution of Bentley’s flagship sedan. The Arnage R focused on supreme comfort and refinement, while the Arnage T offered a sportier driving experience. Both shared the legendary 6.75L twin-turbo V8, enhanced with ECU updates, higher output, and an improved chassis.

Technical Improvements:

Bentley Azure (2006–2010)

The Bentley Azure was the convertible version of the Arnage, combining open-air elegance with unmistakable Bentley power. Equipped with a 6.75L twin-turbo V8 and an electrically operated soft-top, the Azure offered an unmatched sense of occasion and craftsmanship.

Technical Improvements:

Bentley Brooklands Coupé (2008–2010)

The Bentley Brooklands paid tribute to the brand’s heritage of grand touring coupés. Powered by the 6.75L twin-turbo V8 (537 hp, 1,050 Nm), it combined massive torque with timeless design and exclusivity. Only around 550 examples were produced, making the Brooklands a true modern collector’s Bentley.

Technical Improvements:

  • 6.75L twin-turbo V8 (537 hp, 1,050 Nm).
  • Rear-wheel drive with 6-speed automatic transmission.
  • Enhanced suspension and braking systems.
  • Limited production (approx. 550 units).
