Bentley Mark VI, 1949, RHD. Finished in two-tone Silver Sand over Rosewood with a red leather interior, red carpeting and picnic tables. The car is factory fitted with a manual operated metal sliding roof. Within this modelyear the new larger front area radiator was fitted for improved cooling capacity and thus better reliability. Both leather and woodwork inside are in very nice patina condition. The paintwork and chrome on the outside are in good condition as well. The Bentley Mark VI marked a radical change for Rolls-Royce. It was the first car to be offered by the company with factory built coachwork. The Standard Steel Saloon body was produced at Pressed Steels factory. Only 4000 examples of this four and a quarter litre Mark VI were produced. A lovely motor to see and to drive.(more and better photographs will follow shortly).
