Bentley S1 Continental Park Ward, 1959, RHD. Finished in two-tone Shell over Tudor Grey with a Beige leather interior. Bentley Motors build 431 S1 Continentals compared to 3072 standard steel-bodied cars. Of those just 66 received Park Wards revered design 701 coachwork. And only 22 were provided with a big backlight and small pillars like this particular car. A low-profile light two-door saloon with strikingly elegant proportions and ample room for four. The S1 Continental, with its remarkable performance and stunning good looks soon became the Bentley model of choice for the few who could afford one.
In 2015 the current owner had the complete engine and transmission overhauled by Brabo. Probably only 5 cars in the world are still existing as a 2-door Saloon (most have been converted to convertibles). Equipped with good working airconditioning. A must have collectors car.
