Explore the full overview of the Bentley S1, S2, and S3, each with its own distinctive features.

Bentley S1 (1955–1959)

The Bentley S1 was introduced in 1955. It featured a 4.9L inline-six engine producing 175 hp, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. With a top speed of approximately 165 km/h, it came equipped with drum brakes on all wheels. Notable features included its traditional and luxurious interior, complete with a wooden dashboard and leather upholstery.

Bentley S2 (1959–1962)

With the introduction of the S2, Bentley entered the era of V8 engines. The 6.25L aluminum V8 delivered around 200 hp and provided a smoother driving experience. This model included a hydraulic brake system with power assistance and optional air conditioning, significantly enhancing comfort.

Bentley S3 (1962–1965)

The Bentley S3 introduced the distinctive twin headlamps while retaining the 6.25L V8 engine. Thanks to an improved compression ratio and optimized carburetor, the engine delivered a more powerful and efficient driving experience. The S3 also featured advanced power steering and a better-balanced chassis for even smoother handling.

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II (1959–1962)

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III (1962–1965)
