The Rolls-Royce Flying Spur is a unique car, the first Rolls-Royce saloon model ever built with a turbo engine.
In 1994 Rolls-Royce decided for the first time in 90 years of history, to place a turbo driven engine in a limited amount of cars.
25 in the Corniche S (the last ever build Corniche's IV) and 150 reserved for the Rolls Royce Silver Spur III (for the occassion renamed Flying Spur) 50 pieces were allocated for the European market of the total 134 produced for the total world market. The particular Flying Spur we are selling is nr 9 of 50 with European spec.
Together with the turbo engine also the self leveling suspension received the settings from the Bentley Turbo R for better roadholding, still having all the ingredients for Rolls-Royce effortless driving.
This nr.9 Flying Spur is an original car in very good condition. The latest maintenace and repairs have been done by our own workshop and includes : engine maintenance, fuel line replacement, complete brakesystem overhaul, wipermotor and wipers, 4 tyres, several suspension repairs. Alltogether for about € 14.000,- An amount that actually makes our askingprice very reasonable.
Paint, wood- and chromework are in very good condition. The leather shows some use, but is not damaged.
