Contact Restoration in (ECU) Connectors
Why is restoring contacts in connectors important?
Modern vehicles increasingly rely on electronic systems that operate with extremely low current levels. In the past, electrical contacts often carried currents in the milliampere (mA) range, whereas today certain signals operate in the microampere (µA) range.
Due to these very low current levels, a microscopic oxide layer can form on the contact surfaces. This oxide film may cause the electrical connection to become unstable or even fail completely. This phenomenon is commonly seen in data communication networks such as the CAN bus system.
The solution
We offer an effective solution: a specially developed contact restoration fluid that stabilizes and restores electrical connections for long-term reliability. This product was originally developed for industries where reliable electrical connections are critical, such as the computer industry, medical equipment, and aerospace applications.
The treatment creates a stable and reliable electrical connection and can be used on virtually all electrical contacts in vehicles and electronic systems.
